Agent mobility is the ability of mobile agents to leave the environment where they are running and travel to another one. This ability introduces a huge amount of new applications still poor exploited. In order to spread the use of mobile agents two main problems must be solved: security and interoperability.

This project focuses its efforts to make an standard and interoperable agent mobility protocol that would allow agents to migrate among agent platforms. Moreover its also part of the project the idea of adding methods to secure the agents and to include access control mechanisms.

Until now our implementations has been made over the JADE agent platform, although the number of platforms would have been increasing. For the moment the staff involved on this project are members of Senda research group of Autonomous University of Barcelona, but new people will collaborate in the nearby future.
